There’s something magical about fall, isn’t there? The leaves are turning golden, the air gets that perfect crispness, and everything feels just a little bit more nostalgic. It’s the perfect time to gather your family, head outside, and capture moments you’ll want to remember forever.
If you've been thinking about booking a fall family session, here's your sign – and a heads-up: spots are super limited this year! Keep reading to find out why I’m offering only full 60-minute sessions (no minis!), and what makes these sessions so special.
Autumn has this way of painting the world in warm, rich colors that look stunning on camera. Think glowing golden-hour light, cozy sweaters, playful leaf piles, and laughter echoing through open fields. Add your family into that picture, and you've got a recipe for something truly special.
Fall is also a time when families naturally slow down a bit. It’s sweater season, cider-sipping season, and perfect for snuggling up and getting close. It’s honestly my favorite time to shoot, and my clients agree — these sessions are some of the most heartfelt and timeless.
You’ve probably seen photographers offer mini sessions — quick 15-minute photoshoots at a set location. While those are great for certain things, I believe your family deserves more than just 15 minutes and a handful of poses.
This year, I’m focusing solely on the full experience — because that’s where the magic lives.
A 60-minute session gives us time to slow down, connect, and capture the real you. There's space for movement, play, hugs, and even snack breaks if the kiddos need one. The result? A gallery that feels like your family, not just photos of your outfits.
Kids need time to warm up, parents need time to relax, and the best moments often happen in the in-between. You can't rush real connection — and we won’t try to.
If you're worried about awkward posing or stiff smiles, don’t be. I’ll guide you the whole time, but I’ll also give your family space to just be. We’ll play, explore, and follow your kids’ lead. I promise, it’s way more fun than you’re expecting!
Timing is everything, and I plan your session around the most flattering light of the day: golden hour. That magical, warm sunlight that happens just before sunset? Yeah — it’s kind of my thing.
Whether it’s an open field, forest trail, or rustic barn backdrop, I’ll help you choose a location that fits your family’s vibe. I know all the best local spots for that fall magic.
With a full session, there's no rush, no pressure. We let the kids explore. We pause to fix a ponytail or wipe a runny nose. We tell stories, share laughs, and soak up the moments. It's more than a photo session — it's an experience your family will remember.
Let’s be honest — most kids don’t warm up in the first 5 minutes. That’s okay! With a full session, we ease in slowly. We make it playful. By the time we’re halfway through, they’re showing their real smiles (and maybe even asking to keep going!).
These sessions let us capture a full range of emotion — joy, silliness, closeness, and love. That’s what makes your final gallery feel so rich and real.
I’m not just here to take photos. I’m here to create a memorable, joyful experience for your family. From the first message to the final gallery, I want you to feel taken care of and excited.
Every family has a story, and I want to help tell yours. I focus on the little things — the way your daughter grabs your hand, how your son lights up when you spin him around, the glance you share with your partner. These are the moments that matter.
Those are the three things I chase during every session. Whether it’s the sunlight streaming through trees or the quiet smile between siblings — that’s what we’re capturing together.
Once you book, you’ll get my full session guide, including outfit tips, location suggestions, and how to prepare your kids. After our session, you’ll receive your gallery within 2–3 weeks, ready to download, share, and love forever.
Layers are your friend! Think cozy knits, earth tones, denim, boots, and textures like corduroy or wool. I’ll help you style your session so everything looks cohesive (without matching too much).
